Renal Physiology for the Clinician, Fluids, electrolytes and acid-base 24 March 2005, The Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust, London UK
Renal physiology has long been a neglected part of the UK postgraduate curriculum. This course aims to integrate physiological principles with day-to-day clinical practice. The course will consist of formal, introductory lectures each morning, followed in the afternoon by clinical case-based and interactive discussions between the delegates and our faculty designed to illustrate and build upon the morning presentations. This course is intended for Specialist Registrars in Nephrology, but will also be of interest to more senior General (Internal) Medicine Specialist Registrars and SPRs in Intensive Care Medicine. Consultant Nephrologists and General Physicians with an interest in fluid and electrolyte disorders are also welcome to attend as a refresher course.
CLOSING DATE FOR REGISTATION 28 January 2005. Application made to the Royal College of Physicians of London for CPD credit.
